Nate sends a letter reviewing his itinerary after each country visited. The letters talk about the places he and Zeus visited, how they travel through the country, their means of transportation, the sites they see, their individual activities, whether safari tours, unusual hiking trails, gondola tours, cooking classes or historical relics. He shares his experiences meeting local people, trying regional cuisine, celebrating some local holidays and his stays in local hostels meeting other travelers from different parts of the world.
